As has been seen in recent years, there is an unusual difference between the “soft goods” (upholstery & bedding) where petroleum prices, flammability and other factors are pushing prices up, while in the “hard goods” (wood & metal), prices are deflating, and are redefining the industry. This is one reason we believe these studies are so important.
